OUR MISSION:  New Lenox Family Eyecare is dedicated to providing exceptional optometric care in a friendly and efficient manner.  We strive to be the premiere eyecare provider in our community by focusing on technical expertise; offering the safest and highest quality goods; and providing detailed patient education.  Our ultimate goal is to promote the gift of sight.

We value your time as our own.  We do not like waiting when we go to the doctor, and we feel you deserve the same courtesy.  We do not double book appointment slots at New Lenox Family Eyecare for that reason.  We can assure you that unless we need to squeeze in a true eye emergency that may unpredictably walk in the door, you will be seen on time.

We are not pushy when it comes to eyeglass sales.  Unlike typical optical shops, none of our staff receive a commission for sales.  We want you to have the same attention regardless of the frame you are purchasing.  It is our job to explain all the options available to you and allow you to come to an educated decision on what you might be looking for.  Even if you are not coming in for an examination, our optical is always open for browsing and our staff will be more than happy to answer any questions.  Outside prescriptions are welcome!

We proudly accept several Vision and Medical insurance plans.   If you do not see your insurance plan below, please contact our office as this list is not all inclusive.  We will do our best to work with you to verify your coverage.

We are special needs friendly.  We are especially excited when we are given the opportunity to  provide quality and sensitive care to special needs children and adults.  Dr. Steve and Dr. Pauline’s son Nicholas is a 7 year old with Autism.  We will make accommodations whenever possible to schedule examinations when the office is quiet, often times at the beginning or end of the day.  We will also have prospective patients walk through our office to see all the equipment and rooms well before their actual exam if it helps them have a better experience.  We are fully wheelchair accessible; patients do not need to leave their chair for any part of their examination.  Please do not hesitate to inform us of your special situation and we will work with you to determine the best approach.
